Homestay message

Welcome to our home and to our family! We are Charlie, Ella, Amy, and Henry. We live in Walnut, California. We enjoy hosting students for homestay, especially students from China, Taiwan, and Japan. Charlie is originally from New York, and Ella is originally from Beijing, so we usually cook Chinese and American food.
Charlie teaches ESL. He also tutors students one-on-one in many subjects. He likes to play basketball. Ella works at the bank. She and Amy enjoy shopping at the local malls and playing with our two small dogs. Amy is a junior in college and Henry is in seventhth grade. Our son Henry likes to go to Taekwondo class and play on the computer. We really enjoy meeting new students and hosting. We have been homestay parents and guardians for several students in the last seven years, sometimes through the nearby Southlands Christian School homestay program, and sometimes on our own.
When we go anywhere, we always invite students to come with us, whether to go to the mall, to go to the beach, or to go on school break mini-vacations. Just email us at charliemdrake@yahoo.com or call us at 626-988-7789. Welcome!
